FROM THE CHUTE RODEO CO.
Our
Story:

Ever since I was a kid rodeo has always been a big part of my life. I grew up on a tobacco farm in rural Kentucky where we raised beef cattle as well. Every year when Halloween over the calendar switched to November, I would begin to get excited. Because I knew soon our family would load up and head to the North American Championship Rodeo in Louisville. It was something I looked forward to it every year because I loved to watch the bull riding from an early age. My mother on the other hand, was more into the barrel racing since she had participated in those events herself in her youth. So, rodeo and the country way of life was rooted in me. Even though for a brief period I tried to cover it up. Let's face it though. My mom was from Spencer Co. Kentucky, Dad was from Henry County, so this good ole country boy didn't have a chance of escaping it. Which I wouldn't have it any other way. That city life just ain't for me.
Since early on in Middle school, I discovered that I really enjoyed photography as a hobby thanks to my art teacher, Robert Duncan. I took to the hobby pretty easy. I didn't have a camera of my own to use so I would borrow one from the Art Department over night or on the weekends, thanks to Mr. Duncan bending some rules for me. This changed when my grandmother bought me my first camera at an auction. It was nothing fancy, but it was enough for me to really embrace the hobby and open up to a whole new world of adventures. Eventually my parents bought me a better camera one year for Christmas. I used this little Cannon 35mm film camera all through high school. (I still carry it in my gear bag to this day as a reminder of where I began.) After some long days out on the family's tobacco farm and those nearby, and as well as my first Job (detailing cars and doing some clerical work for the local Crysler dealership things started to improve for myself financially. I was finally able to purchase my first digital camera. I took that little Nikon everywhere. Even some places I shouldn't. I would travel the little back roads just documenting the farmlands and old barns I would come across. Even would take it to some places I didn't need to be. But I never thought that it would take me anywhere. Let alone be a lifelong hobby. Looking back nearly 25 years since I took my first artistic photographs, The passion that was ignited by that first camera still burns brightly. Just now with better equipment.
In the summer of 2022, I begin taking my camera to some small county fairs in Kentucky that were hosting some bull riding competitions. I really liked the results from the photographs I captured. I hadn't really thought about mixing the two together before. But as a result, From The Chute Photography was established in 2023. Since then, our dreams and desires wanted to accomplish more than just being a photography only type business. So as a result, From The Chute Rodeo Company was created instead. This way we are not limited to what we are capable of. Within FTCRC you'll find we're still deeply rooted into being a photography-based business. We offer a variety of photography services. Such as photographing events, portraits, landscapes of farmlands, real estate photography. We greatly love capturing photographs during rodeos, bull riding, barrel racing, and any other rodeo events. We also offer our photographs to the riders directly of these events. We also offer prints of our photography work as well. These prints will be available in our, "Country Store", with unframed and framed options being available for purchase. All prints will also be limited t
Also, since changing over to From The Chute Rodeo Company, we have created our clothing line. Here we offer a variety of t-shirts, hoodies, hats. While also offering koozies, stickers and decals, bandannas, etc. Not really sure what all you might find in there. More details on those items will be to come later.
Thanks for stopping by.

AARON RODGERS
Owner/Photographer

Aaron Rodgers has always been intrigued by art and the creative side of things. His personal goals of his art have pushed him to create images that causes the viewer to stop and notice the beauty that surrounds them that normally goes by unseen in the busy world we live in. He considers himself mostly self-taught and has learned much through the trial-and-error process. He also owes much of his success and learned skills to his mentor, Robert Duncan, who was his art teacher at Spencer County High School and remains a mentor to him to this day. While a student of Duncan's, Aaron took every traditional and AP art class that was available to him. Aaron went onto earn numerous awards in the annual high school art shows as well as in other contest around the community. Since graduating high school, he has narrowed his focus strictly onto photography and has established his own personal style within his photographs. Aaron has contributed to several online galleries through the years. One of these was on jpgmag.com, which has since been shut down. During his time there on the site, Aaron was nominated as, "Member of the Month" on nine different occasions. Which he won, "Member of the Month" honors on three of those occasions. Along with those, Aaron was awarded "Photograph of the Week" honors seven times. With five of those resulting in Aaron's photographs being given the cover.
